Where To Find The Inspiration to Be Amazingly Successful

She was nervous about the event; people said she was amazingly pretty but only part of her mind believed what they said. Life had taught her to both love and hate herself and that’s what triggered her eating disorder.

He had lived with an overbearing father, a mother who had trouble keeping her act together and as he grew he became more detached from them both. He learned early that drugs offered him a way of escape from the criticism and the lack of support that came his way. The drugs were changing his life but not all the changes were  so great.

What’s your story? Did someone important let you down? Did life give you a raw deal? Have you made mistakes you can’t forget? We each have different things that shape our lives and sometimes that shaping is more than we want – they begin to control us.

When we face our insecurity and fear, our experience and our frustration, there’s some important questions we need to ask:

If God is for us, who can be against us?

.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or

famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

.

.

.

No, in all  these things we are more than

conquerors through him who loved us.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life,

neither angels nor demons,

neither the present nor the future,

nor any powers, neither height nor depth,

nor anything else in all creation

will be able to separate us from

the love of God that is in

Christ Jesus our Lord.

The battle we often have is with ourselves – the things we tell ourselves and the thoughts that spin in our heads. It’s part of human nature to need reassurance and we look for it in various ways.  Mostly those ways are healthy and they form a part of the backdrop of life. Occasionally we go  through periods of stress and in those times we benefit from reassurance beyond ourselves.

God knows we have that need and is ready for it.

There’s strength in confidence because it frees us from wasting energy on doubt and worry. Instead of being depressed by our troubles we are empowered to face them. This is no mind trick, it’s the benefit that comes from building our lives on a solid foundation.

People may do horrible stuff to us, terrible events may come our way, we may run entirely out of answers but our basis remains because it is not determined by what happens to us nor by what others say or think about us.

Our confidence comes from the  knowledge that we have been chosen and called by God and he is the only one who is able to protect us at all times and in all places..

Whatever life throws at us, this fact remains:

while we are on God’s side, nothing else matters, so we can and will meet every challenge.

  1. It is true the victory is ours already; however, we live in these human bodies, subject to weaknesses, sickness, frailty, fear, etc. It is getting through our part of the battle, to the point we can see the big picture of the final victory, the place Jesus has prepared for us, and remembering His promises to wipe away every tear, for the former things will have passed away.

When it all gets me really down, I cling to His words at the end of Revelation. Their is nothing ambiguous about them. No smoke, and mirrors there. He tells us plainly He will wipe away every tear, there will be no more sickness, no more death, that the former things have passed away. The comfort I find in these words of Christ always get me through.

Thanks for sharing this. I have been blessed by it. May God bless you today, and every day.
